A 12 HOUR, 2 DAY BABYSITTER TRAINING COURSE FOR STUDENTS ENTERING GRADES 6 AND HIGHER
We hold this class annually during school vacation. Please check back for our next class in 2018!
The goal of this program is to educate students in Grades 6 and higher in childcare safety, First Aid, CPR and babysitting responsibilities. This course will provide the tools to become a confident, reliable, and trustworthy babysitter.
This course will focus on the responsibilities of a babysitter, growth and development of a child, and toy safety. Students will complete and become certified in the American Heart Association Pediatric First Aid course, including management of choking emergencies.
We’ll be practicing basic childcare, including diapering and feeding. [Please borrow a doll to bring to this class]. Students will learn and become certified in the American Heart Association CPR and AED training course as part of Bootcamp training.
