Healthcare Educational Resources, Inc. (H.E.R.) was founded in 1989 by Registered Nurses with the primary goal of providing CPR, First Aid, Injury Prevention and Health and Wellness programs for the community and corporations, and quality Continuing Education courses for nurses, health care professionals, teachers and community groups. Our corporate courses meet and exceed current OSHA standards and reward employees and their families with safety, health, and life enhancing skills. All our courses are presented in a professional but relaxed, informal manner, allowing participants to maximize learning. Ongoing courses are held at the Conant Community Health Center in Bridgewater, MA, easily accessible to cities and towns in Southeastern Massachusetts. Onsite courses are offered for groups of 10 or more in the greater Taunton and Brockton areas. Course Director for H.E.R. is Ruth W. LaBonte, M.Ed., RN. Ruthie, a Regional Faculty member of the American Heart Association (AHA), is a Training Center Coordinator and CPR / First Aid Instructor. Ruthie’s background includes positions in hospital Nursing Supervision, Staff Development and Nursing School Faculty. H.E.R. courses are also taught by a team of American Heart Association Certified Instructors.
